A much needed bounce back win for the Lady Rebels tonight after a tough one-run loss yesterday. Tonight’s win came in run-rule fashion against the visiting Wolverines of West Geauga.
The Rebs got on the board early when Violet Dichazy hit her first career homerun over the centerfield fence giving South a 1-0 lead. They would score 4 in the first, 4 in the third, 3 in the fourth before ending the game with one run in the bottom of the fifth inning.
Makayla Schneider was on fire going 4-4 including a triple and 3 RBI. Savannah Jolly stayed hot with a 2-2 performance driving in 3 runs.
Halle Zupancic went the distance for the Rebels allowing 2 runs on only 4 hits.
The Lady Rebels will travel to Chardon tomorrow to try on a mission to avenge their 6-5 loss from yesterday.
