In a game that took two weeks to complete due to a weather stoppage, the Varsity Lady Rebels knocked off Mayfield 7-1 thanks to the hot bats of Savannah Jolly, Paige Janson and Addy Matriano. Jolly hit her first homerun of the season over the right field fence in the second inning driving in two runs. She would later drive in another runs.Matriano was 3-3 scoring twice and driving in two runs. Janson along with Mariya Reed added multiple hits for the Rebels.

Error-free defense and a red hot Halle Zupancic were key as the junior hurler gave up only one earned run while striking out six.

The Rebels completed their season sweep of the Wildcats and continued a steak that goes back to 2017.

Medina Buckeye was up next for the Lady Rebels. The Bucks won their district last season in the playoffs.
